Hewlett-Packard (HP) has announced it will expand its range of printer ink technology to help clients in the architecture, construction and engineering sectors.

The company plans to increase its portfolio of Designjet ePrinters to make large-format printing for professionals easier.

Furthermore, HP claims that its new Designjet T1300 and Designjet T790 ePrinter models have been tailored to match customers' needs with people being able to connect the devices to laptops via a USB connection.

Santiago Morera, vice president and general manager in Designjet large-format solutions at HP, said: "Today, HP is dramatically simplifying the large-format printing experience by enabling our customers to print and upload their personal content to and from the web in an instant and access their files where the job takes them.”

Recently, the firm announced that it would be introducing wireless PC accessories to its devices, including the HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse and the Links-5 connector that helps free up USB space on various computer products.
