HP Ink And Printer Technology Help Boost Its Profits
Hewlett-Packard (HP) has released its second quarter financial results that show gains in its entire printer ink technology categories, and overall an increased company net revenue of three per cent.
Furthermore, HP revealed that in all of its imaging and printing group sales profits grew by five per cent over the year.
On top of this, it claims that with new innovation and technology, such as the ePrint platform it has helped grow HP's commercial hardware transactions.
Cathie Lesjak, executive vice president and chief financial officer at HP, said: "In the second quarter, we saw continued strength in the enterprise with combined revenue from our commercial businesses up eight per cent year over year."
Recently, ahead of HP's financial results the company announced a new range of HP Designjet ePrinters created for mobile workers.
Furthermore, the firm claims that the new devices allow professionals to print large-formatted images simply and improve content-sharing.
