Kodak And VMware Team Up to Improve Printer Ink Technology
Kodak and VMware have announced that they have produced a Virtual Operating Environment (VOE) service that will make using printer ink technology easier and more efficient.
The partnership claims that the new virtual servers will help businesses manage their IT sectors with greater control and speed while saving on costs.
Furthermore, the companies noted that using the new technology with products like the Kodak Prinergy Connect workflow and the Kodak Insite Prepress Portal System can help simplify the way printer ink devices are used within firms.
Jon Bracken, general manager of unified workflow solutions business solutions and the services group at Kodak, said: "We’re confident the Kodak Virtual Operating Environment option can help printers further reduce their capital and operating costs without affecting the level of service they provide their customers."
Recently, Kodak's printer ink technology won two gold models at the Poligrafia trade show in Poland because of its devices' functionality and innovation.
