HP ePrint Solutions Enable People To Print From Anywhere
HP's new ePrint mobile printing solutions allow people to print articles from anywhere at any time, the ink manufacturer has claimed.
The technology works by assigning an email address to an HP printer, which is then used to enable people to print out articles via email, eliminating the need to physically connect to a printer.
All users are required to do is attach their document to an email and then send it to the address of a printer that is HP ePrint-enabled.
Devices that people can send documents from include iPads, iPhones, Blackberry smartphones and personal laptops, while the specific address that is used to print documents will not be publicised by HP, ensuring high security.
Recently, HP announced new restricting plans, which will lead to roughly 27,000 workers leaving the company by October.
The plans aim to simplify business processes and advance innovation, with the firm hoping that the work will generate yearly savings in the range of $3 billion (£1.9 billon) to $3.5 billion.
