HP Partners With Universal For New Film
Ink manufacturer HP has confirmed that it is working in partnership with Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment to launch a new 3D computer graphics film.
Entitled Dr Seuss' The Lorax, the movie will open across the UK on July 27th 2012, with HP stating that its endorsement is an example of its devotion to worldwide environmental leadership.
Jeff Walter, director of environmental sustainability at HP, said: "The theme of environmental commitment is a priority throughout HP and spreading the message of Dr Seuss' The Lorax is something we are passionate about."
Mr Walter continued by describing the movie as an "ecological challenge," adding that HP shares the same sustainable values of the film when it comes to printing.
Last month, the ink cartridge manufacturer opened a technology renewal centre in Erskine, Scotland.
The facility will allow consumers to recycle or refresh HP ink, printers and other products that have reached the end of their useful life.
