The HP Photosmart 6510 all-in-one printer has been described as a neat all-in-one, in a recent review.

Computeractive.co.uk praised the hardware's use of black ink, remarking that the text "looks sharp", while colour graphics and text was described as "just above average".

Simon Williams, reviewer for the website, said: "There is a lot to like about the Photosmart 6510 and, despite its annoying paper trays and the occasional menu dead end, it does what it sets out to do very capably."

Mr Williams noted that ink cartridges are available in both standard and XL versions, with running costs standing at 2.5p and 7.7p for black and colour respectively.

HP's Deskjet 2510 printer also came in for praise recently, picking up a seven out of ten score from TrustedReviews.com, which described it as a "serviceable entry-level all-in-one".

The website commended the hardware's easy-to-use controls and fast power-up capabilities, but added that its use of tri-colour ink cartridges can be wasteful.Posted by Johnny McMaster
