The HP Photosmart 7520 has been described as a well-rounded machine by a reviewer at PC Advisor.

Robin Morris from the website has claimed that the device is ideal for a busy home or a small office and claimed that its unconventional design means that it looks "more like a 60s modernist house than a multi-function printer".

Mr Morris summarised: "The running costs are modest, and the HP Photosmart 7520 does an awful lot very well. Speeds are often quite good, and it fared particularly well on photos. Add in the wonderful interface, and this is quite the all-rounder."

HP will be hoping that its products will prove popular in the coming months, as the company's chief executive Meg Whitman recently admitted that it will be more than four years until she will be able to conclude if the firm's problems, which saw it make 2,000 people redundant, have been rectified.

Mr Morris explained that another benefit of the HP Photosmart 7520 printer is its 125-sheet input tray, which is supplemented with a 20-sheet photo tray.
