Ink specialist HP has unveiled new HP Deskjet Ink Advantage printers in Nigeria, which aim to reduce expenses for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

The systems boast a selection of printing choices, with the technology expected to play a key role in boosting school projects within the country and offer low running costs to SMBs.

Channel development manager of HP Rita Amuchienwa said that printer damage can decrease as a result of the "exceptional reliability" provided by HP Advantage systems.

"HP has an unrivalled track record of bringing industry-leading innovation and choice to our customers. Our growing HP Deskjet Ink Advantage portfolio will offer more affordable choices that allow our customers to print more at a lower cost, without sacrificing quality or reliability," Ms Amuchienwa explained.

The company will be hoping that the systems pick up similar acclaim to the recently released HP Photosmart 7520 device, which was described by PC Advisor as a "well-rounded machine".
