HP Announces New Digital Wallcovering Solution
Printer company HP has announced a new digital printing solution, comprising of a range of design software, media, printing and finishing options.
It is currently on display at Heimtextil until January 13th and includes a cloud-based web service, simplifying the design, visualisation and production of customized wallcoverings.
As well as this, there is a wide range of compatible wall decoration media, including coated and uncoated paper and PVC-free substrates.
Xavier Garcia, vice president and general manager, said: "In the commercial, retail and residential markets, demand for unique décor is rapidly growing as both consumers and designers seek new ways to reflect their individual tastes, values and experiences in their homes as well as businesses."
News of this latest release comes after HP unveiled its Sleekbook machine, which offers an alternative to Intel's Ultrabook model.
Kevin Wentzel, technical marketing manager at HP, told PCWorld that the Sleekbook boasts an AMD A8 processor, 6GB of RAM and a 750GB hard drive.
