HP Wins CRN Channel Champion Award For Workgroup Printers
HP has collected the CRN channel champion award for workgroup printers.
Its high-decibel channel and customer marketing, integrated channel approach and improved policies meant that the company was handed the prize ahead of Canon.
Canon scored high on channel profitability, but issues in its policies and business strategy affected its overall channel preference.
Samsung charted third, mainly due to its price aggressiveness in entry-level laser printers, but Epson failed to make the list.
It collected less than ten per cent of votes, with product shortages and reduced incentives resulting in a drop in popularity.
“The company scored higher on all parameters of channel preference compared to its competitors. Respondents lauded the integration of the PC and printer divisions as it helped them gain incremental business,” CRN noted.
Consumers have a wide variety of models to choose from in the market, including multi-function printers and laser machines.
Before making a purchase, people should properly look at their individual needs and check running costs.
