Low Ink Costs A Bonus For New HP Inkjet
The new inkjet printer from HP has been praised in a new review, which notes that the low ink costs will be a major boon for offices purchasing the device.
The Trusted Reviews appraisal noted that the HP Officejet Pro 276dw is one of the larger printers on the market, but this is due to its high capacity, which means the machine does not need to compromise quality.
In tests, text quality was classed as "generally good" and, though the reviewer conceded it was not quite as crisp as some other HP machines, it was rated marginally higher than rivals such as the Epson WorkForce Pro.
The ink costs were also welcomed by the reviewer, who noted: "The black cartridge is available in two yields. Using highest yield consumables gives page costs of 1.8p for black and 4.9p for colour, both of which are very good and undercut equivalent laser print costs by a considerable margin."
For those who are willing to wait for the printer to load up jobs, it is a worthy purchase, although Trusted Reviews acknowledged that there are faster and cheaper MFPs on the market, concluding by giving the printer a score of 7/10.
