HP launches new LaserJet Enterprise printers
Printing expert HP has launched two new enterprise printers, as well as innovative security technology to better protect users.
The company's system allows a user to tap their near field communications-enabled (NFC) device to authenticate themselves and complete their print jobs. Both of HP's new printers - the HP Colour LaserJet Enterprise MFP M680 series and the HP Colour LaserJet Enterprise MFP M651 series - support the company's new security measures to perform commands such as touch to print and other wireless direct mobile printing options.
The M650 is an all-in-one machine that can reach printing speeds of 45ppm, with single-pass two-sided scanning and scan to SharePoint capabilities. Access to the cloud is available from the eight-inch touch panel, allowing for more flexible use. HP's M651 is a single function printer version of the M680, offering the same print speeds but featuring acoustic noise reduction technology to ensure that it is not disruptive.
