Printers take centre stage at HP event
Printers were the main event at HP’s Global Partner Conference 2014, which kicked off earlier this week (March 24th), as the company announced a number of new machines.
The printing experts unveiled the OfficeJet Enterprise Color MFP X555 and X585 units, giving companies ink-based machines that cut the price per page of laser printers. The release of the new range is part of HP's wider initiative, which brings a "New Style of IT" for its partners. “The New Style of IT requires a new style of partnering,” said Meg Whitman, president and chief executive officer, HP. “Together, HP and our partners have become the go-to technology provider for the New Style of IT with industry-leading technology solutions, programs and incentives that help partners drive growth.”
One of HP's partners, Entisys Solutions, spoke about the demands of modern business on companies. Mike Strohl, chief executive officer, Entisys Solutions, Inc, said: “Partners are looking for tools and resources that help them stay ahead of competitors and meet evolving customer needs.”
