Commercial ink cartridges user Emerson Clarke has become the first Canadian firm to install a Kodak NEXPRESS SX3300 Press to deliver it a competitive advantage.

Beforehand, the Calgary-based company claimed that it had to pass on jobs to other businesses in the area.

However, after installing the ink cartridges product, which is equipped with Kodak's unique Print Genius image processing technology, the company saw an increase in its productivity and quality.

Len Knight, operations manager of Emerson Clarke, said: "The first and biggest reason we chose the NEXPRESS Press over a competitor’s product is the quality.

"The quality that it prints on various substrates far surpasses what the competition can do," he added.

Recently, the Fineline Printing Group, which specialises in providing services to the healthcare, higher education and manufacturing sectors, also installed a Kodak NEXPRESS SX3300 Digital Production Colour Ink Cartridges Press.

The company's president, Richard Miller, stated that the device was the perfect addition to "enhance our digital printing capabilities".
