2013 Inkjet Summit Showcases New Technologies
The 2013 Inkjet Summit took place at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club on April 11th, providing a range of ideas for the market.
Piworld.com has reported that the event included keynotes, panel discussions, case studies, user conversations and a host of other activities.
It was the first summit of its kind and featured a number of leading commercial printing executives, while companies taking part in the showcase included Ricoh, Canon and Xerox.
Howie Fenton, senior consultant, NAPL, told the news provider: "Inkjet's evolution is happening significantly faster than [what's occurred] with toner-based technologies.
"There are also ample opportunities for today's early inkjet adopters. It hasn't crossed the chasm and become commoditised. People are making money with it now."
The printer market has become increasingly competitive over recent years, with a host of companies competing to control a large market share.
As a result, there are now several different products available for consumers, who are able to benefit from truly groundbreaking technology.
