Large-format Epson printers promise pigment ink technology

Epson has reduced the recommended retail price (RRP) of its Stylus Pro 11880 large-format printer (LFP) to £8,995.

The company's first 64ins printer, the device uses ThinFilm Piezo printheads that allow it to make the most of optimised pigment ink technology.

It also announced a reduction in the RRP for its Stylus Pro GS600 to £18,995 - a bargain for professional printers looking to find a solution that can make use of efficient 950ml ink cartridges.

The printer has an ink set that includes orange and green cartridges for high-quality prints up to 64ins.

Martin Johns, senior product manager at Epson UK, said: "With attractive new prices for our 64ins LFP range, graphic arts professionals are being offered the impressive quality, flexibility, speed and reliability of Epson, at an extremely attractive price."
