One of the Kodak printer ink devices has been honoured with a Hot Pick award at PrintEx11 in Australia.

The firm's Kodak Nexpress SX Digital Production Colour Press was selected by Print21, an Australian and New Zealand online journal, for the honour.

Furthermore, the award was given to Kodak in recognition of it being a leader in creating innovative printer ink devices.

Adrian Flemming, managing director of Kodak Australia, said: "The Kodak Nexpress family of presses helps customers drive more jobs per shift and more profit per page, by consistently and reliably producing market-leading image quality from job to job and day to day."

Recently, Kodak announced that it was launching a new Trade-In and recycling programme for its electrical and printer ink devices as part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability.

The company added that this new scheme will prevent many products finishing up at landfill sites and means consumers can get rid of their old systems for cash.
