The Imball Center is using printer ink firm Kodak's Flexcel NX Digital Flexographic plates made by Flexograf to produce outstanding quality packaging and documents.

It upgraded its old Kodak Thermoflex Platesetter in 2010 and since then customers have seen a massive improvement and enhancement in production and quality.

The Flexcel NX System allows firms to provide more consistent and reliable prints, according to Kodak.

Alberto Bramanti, chief executive at Flexograf, said: "Jobs can be repeated with consistent print quality, from one print run to the next. The flat-top dots are more durable in printing and during cleaning.

"Our print customers particularly appreciate the reliability and consistency of the Flexcel NX Plates," he added.

Recently, Mercury Print Productions installed Kodak's latest Prosper 5000XL printer ink press in its office.

The company hopes that this latest device will help boost productivity, efficiency and be cost-effective while creating its documents and prints.
