A new digital newspaper service in Spain will use two Kodak Versamark VL4200 printer ink devices to create titles in the future.

Acierta Transpromo & Billing Solutions (Acierta) has joined up with PressPrint to produce publications in a Madrid office.

The new business has received interest from several international newspapers wanting to use Acierta and PressPrint's services to enter the Spanish market.

Benjamin Caro, managing director at Acierta, said: "The two companies offer an integrated service that includes customisation and the capturing of subscribers.

“And because we have incorporated a second Kodak Versamark VL4200 System into our infrastructure, we now have two powerful printing systems that can produce around 12,000 copies a night.”

Recently, Kodak announced the latest version of its Professional Digital printer ink software, the DP2v14, which can help speed up workflow, improve image quality and productivity for businesses and it can be used on a number of devices including the Nexpress Digital production Colour Press.
