The company's e-surface printer paper is thinner than other standard consumer sheets and is ideal for photos, album covers, postcards and more, it has been claimed.

Kodak noted that its latest innovation is perfect for printer ink customers wanting to reproduce pictures and images to a high quality with long-lasting prints.

Herman Klein, director of, said: "It's important to us that our customers receive books with true photo quality, with bright saturated colours and excellent flesh tones, and that last a lifetime.

"Nothing on the market today matches it," he added.

Recently, ink firm Kodak's creative production software allows people to print personalised images from calendars, through to collages, books and more.

The firm noted that this new technology is perfect for improving picture quality and gives users the opportunity to have vibrant colours and richer details on their documents.
