Kodak Helps JS McCarthy Printers Boost Efficiency
Kodak Unified Workflow Solutions have helped to boost the efficiency of operations at JS McCarthy Printers.
Roger Schutte, director of product technology for JS McCarthy told Finchannel.com that the ink specialist's service enables it to keep its costs down as it continues to grow.
"We need to remove touches. We need to process jobs faster, cheaper and immediately. Kodak's workflow solutions help us do that by streamlining and automating the production process," Mr Schutte explained to the news provider.
The technology allows clients to submit, manage, proof and approve projects over the internet, creating significant savings when it comes to time and costs, which can then be invested elsewhere in a business.
This news comes after Epson unveiled its ColourWorks C831 Wide Label Printer at the 2012 Pack Expo event in Chicago.
It removes the need for colour pre-prints and allows businesses to develop Globally Harmonised System compliant labels at a cheaper price than thermal transfer or colour laser labels.
