Kyocera Manufactures Worlds Fastest 300dpi Inkjet Printhead
Printer company Kyocera has developed the world's quickest 300dpi (dots per inch) inkjet printhead.
The system enables simultaneous two-colour printing and boasts the globe's fastest printing speed of 152m per minute.
As well as this, the hardware's nozzle configuration stops the mixing of inks at the point of contact with paper.
Samples of the new product are expected to be available within the year, with the company aiming to respond to the market's demand for high-speed, high-resolution printing and a decrease in the environmental impact of products.
Another key feature of the hardware is its printing resolution of 1200dpi x 1200dpi, as well as a printing width of 108 inches.
Details about the record-breaking printer come after Kyocera appointed a new senior service manager for Europe.
Norbert Wolter will spearhead a pan-European project, which aims to introduce the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management System across its operations over the continent
