New Lexmark ink jet printer ultra fast
A new high-speed all-in-one printer has been released by the manufacturer
A new ink jet printer from Lexmark offers "laser quality print speeds", according to an IT commentator.
Ink and printer comparison site printcomparison.com has offered consumers a first look at the model, which offers average speeds of 10.2 pages per minute (ppm) and can print up to 33 ppm.
In addition, the Lexmark Prestige All-in-one offers multiple connectivity options through Wi-Fi, Ethernet and USB, as well as including a scanner and a photocopier.
The dye-based ink cartridges also offer users maximum efficiency and comes complete with a healthy monthly duty cycle of up to 10,000 pages.
It also includes a built-in memory of 64 MBs and contains a built-in card reader for those users who wish to print data such as pictures from digital cameras.
Designed as an ideal and efficient all-in-one office tool, the Lexmark Prestige was announced back in 2009 within weeks of a similar model being announced by printer and ink cartridge manufacturing giant HP.
