Lexmark Launches Black Ink Cartridge To Save Cost
Lexmark, the printer ink firm, has announced details of a new black ink cartridge as a means of helping businesses reduce their printing-related outgoings.
The company pointed towards a recent study by IRI on behalf of Lexmark which revealed that two-thirds of Europe's professionals at home and half of professionals at work print mainly in black, therefore reiterating the need for cheaper black ink.
Said research also showed that almost half of professionals at home print more than 30 pages per week, while nearly 40 per cent of professionals at work print more than 100, highlighting the need for more efficiency in printing.
Paul Rooke, Lexmark executive vice president and president of the firm's Imaging Solutions Division, said: "The more business users print, the more critical their cost per page - and this survey shows just how important that cost could be.
"Lexmark is committed to helping its customers print as economically as possible. Our cartridge initiative is a great way to help our users meet their budgeting needs."
