Lexmark To Donate Printer Ink Technology To Operation Homefront

Lexmark and Office Depot have launched a programme designed to give military families the opportunity to stay in touch with loved ones on the frontline.

The project will provide Operation Homefront with a new printer from Lexmark every time one of its all-in-one printer ink products is bought in store or online.

Beginning from today and running through to June 4th, and again from June 26th until July 9th the two companies hope to donate 4,000 printers to Operation Homefront.

Marty Canning, president of imaging solutions and services at Lexmark, said the company is proud to align with Office Depot for the second year in a row to support this project.

Recently, printer ink firm Hewlett-Packard worked alongside DoSomething.org to encourage students to think of positive effects their school can have on the environment.

The project involved over 2,500 educational establishments over a ten-week campaign that involved setting up recycling programmes to try and reduce carbon footprints within the academic institutions.
