Lexmark Printer Ink Systems Help Control Document Workflow
Lexmark has launched a new service that allows financial institutions to control their printer ink services and document workflows more efficiently.
The firm's Branch Capture Solution (BCS) will create a more economical and cost-effective method for controlling accounts and printing, it claims.
This new software was developed after the company's recent survey revealed that financial institutions wanted more satisfaction from their IT spending.
Furthermore, the CBS will make it easier for companies to track where information and documents have been sent to as it leaves an electronic audit trail once data has been transferred from one department to another.
Recently, Lexmark announced that 20,000 of its E, T and C series workgroup printer ink devices would be deployed to the US Department of Veterans Affairs after signing a new contract.
Marty Canning, executive vice president and president of imaging solutions and services at Lexmark, said: "Lexmark's wide range of laser printers deployed across these locations will help support the critical care services that are delivered to our military veterans and their families."
