Individuals looking to make their ink cartridges go that little bit further have been given some inspired advice of ways of doing so.

Highlights are that there are three significant steps that individuals can take to ensure they get the most out of their printer ink.

The first suggestion is to print documents in draft mode unless the highest quality results are required, as this simple move could enable an individual to benefit from five times as many prints.

Furthermore, using a printer on a regular basis could prove prudent as it will prevent the nozzles of the device getting blocked by dry ink, with the tip being to ensure at least one page is printed at least every couple of weeks.

The final piece of advice relates to how unused ink cartridges are stored, as keeping them in the right location could ensure they are still good to use in two years time.

This involves keeping them in an upright position and in a location that is both not too hot or cold, while packages should not be opened until the time when they will be used for the first time.
