Oki Data Americas has marked 40 years in operation with celebrations for all of its team members.

Founded in 1972, the company was launched as a joint venture between Oki Electric Industry Company and a member of the former RCA Computer Division, before going on to make its first product the following year.

The ink specialist cites its employees, distribution partners and loyal customer base as just a few of the reasons for its success in the market.

Earlier this month, Oki introduced a number of colour and mono printers to small and medium-sized businesses in Australia.

The C321dn, C301dn and B401d/dn A4 systems have been launched in the country and aim to offer flexible and dependable performance to businesses.

Scott Becker, executive vice president of North America sales and marketing for OKI Data Americas, said: "We thank our team of dedicated employees for their service to the company, in addition to all those who have contributed to OKI’s success – most especially our channel partners and loyal customers."
