Oki has announced new multifunction printers (MFPs), which enable consumers to print a wide variety of documents from Apple devices.

This can be done without needing to download software or install drivers, enabling high-quality business documents to be created whenever and wherever they are needed.

Harry Takahashi, managing director at OKI Europe, said: “With the increasing number of mobile workers, it is essential that OKI provides a comprehensive mobile printing offering to its customers, to help them drive efficiency gains even when their staff are in the field.

He added that the use of Apple’s AirPrint on some of the devices acts as a “welcome addition” to support the growing needs in the market.

Oki will expand its variety of AirPrint-compatible MFPs and printers in a bid to strengthen its mobile printing services, in a strategy to offer optimised solutions to SMBs in the global market.
