OKI B721dn Commended By PC Mag
OKI's B721dn machine has been commended by PC Mag writer Tony Hoffman.
The machine has been praised for its prodigious monthly duty cycle, high standard and optional paper handling, but has been described as slow for its retail price.
Mr Hoffman also lamented the high running costs for the machine, though he described it as a "workhorse monochrome laser printer" that is capable of anchoring a mid-sized workgroup.
"Graphics output was average for a mono laser, good enough for internal business use, but whether you'd consider them good enough to, say, distribute as PowerPoint handouts to a client you were seeking to impress depends on how picky you are," he noted.
The reviewer emphasised how very thin lines did not show at all in one illustration, while claiming that the machine could have been more effective at distinguishing between similar shades of grey.
He also said the photo quality offered by the machine was typical of mono lasers.
