Fans of glamorous ink cartridge fountain pens may be shocked to hear that an expensive fountain pen engraved with the name of film legend Greta Garbo was stolen as part of a £10,000 robbery.

The burglars stole a valuable collection of fountain pens, in addition to a horde of expensive jewellery and caused damage costing hundreds of pounds during the burglary near Plymouth on February 4th, the Plymouth Herald reports.

Police are looking for help in tracking down a bright orange Delta Dolce Vita chunky-sized fountain pen with a black cap, an Elysee slim silver-coloured fine-fibre tipped or ballpoint pen and a black Parker pen.

The police confirmed that the Mont Blanc Greta Garbo limited-edition roller or ballpoint pen is black with a cream cap and silver chip, while the end of the clip is adorned with a pearl.

This news comes soon after Paul Fraser Collectables revealed that the decadence and enduring style of Mont Blanc fountain pens will be put under the hammer at Bonham's for enthusiasts of the high-end, classy writing instruments this month.
