Toner cartridge solutions best for brochure printing
Small businesses planning to print their own marketing materials - such as brochures and posters - should consider using a laser printer equipped with toner cartridge.
According to PC Mag, the main concept of desktop publishing is to save small enterprises the hassles and costs associated with going to the printers.
For that reason, it suggested that it could be worthwhile for entrepreneurs just starting out to consider investing in a quality printer, particularly if they want to use colour, graphics and photos.
"When you're looking for a printer for desktop publishing, keep in mind that high quality for one kind of output doesn't necessarily translate to high quality for other kinds," the website warned.
While sharp edges are best for text and line graphics, photos need printers that have the right ink and are able to properly handle colour gradients
It recommended the HP Colour LaserJet CP1518ni and Xerox Phaser 6280DN printers as two laser devices capable of providing high-quality output for a range of different materials.
