Epson WorkForce Printers Unveiled With Four Ink Colours
Epson has launched two new printers in its WorkForce range, both of which come with four-colour ink cartridges, macworld.com reports.
The Epson WorkForce 610 is a multifunction device that offers printing, scanning, copying and faxing capabilities, while the WorkForce 1100 specialises in producing wide-format documents.
With a 2.5ins LCD screen and a memory slot for connection to external devices, the WorkForce 610 boasts built-in Wi-Fi and is capable of printing 38 pages per minute (ppm) with black and colour inks in draft mode.
That figure is reduced to 15 ppm and nine ppm for "laser quality" black and colour prints respectively, according to the website.
Meanwhile, the WorkForce 1110, which is due to launch in the US later this year, is capable of dealing with sheet-fed media measuring up to 13ins by 19ins.
Earlier this month, Epson launched its Stylus Pro 11880 and Stylus Pro GS6000 large-format printers, both of which can work with media up to 64ins in width.
