The Xerox Phaser 3250/DN features an automatic duplexer and a low price tag that makes up for a "clunky paper tray".

According to PC World, the device is suitable for homes or small offices and requires very little effort to setup.

The technology website's tests found the Xerox Phaser 3250/DN to be capable of printing 27.7 pages per minutes (ppm) for monochrome text but just seven ppm for pages with graphics.

"As commonly happens with monochrome lasers, it delivered superb text quality and mediocre graphics quality, with a limited range of grays and some horizontal banding through the darker parts of the images," PC World said.

It criticised the device's paper tray and noted that people who regularly print would be better use using the single-sheet feeder.

In conclusion, the website noted: "Busier offices with heavier printing demands may be happier with the Phaser 3250/DN's big brother, the Xerox Phaser 3600/N."
