Xerox Phaser Should Be Used For Light Duty
Posted by Adam Clark
A new printer from Xerox suitable for use both in home and in the office works best on lighter jobs, a reviewer has claimed.
Writing for PC Magazine.com, Tony Hoffman said that Xerox Phaser 6140 is a colour laser printer that has a "solid" set of features and gives a "decent level" of performance.
Mr Hoffman said: "We tested the networked version found it a solid but unexceptional beast.
"The printer's relatively high running costs work against it, but it may still be a good fit if you need the benefits of a color laser but don't plan to use it for more than light duty."
Features included with the device include blank page-skipping facility and N-up printing, which allows multiple pages to be included as part of one document.
A print resolution of 600 by 600 dpi is included while the Run Black feature enables the machine to continue running in black toner in the event of the colour toner running out.
