Ink cartridge manufacturer Lexmark has made two new appointments to help it adhere to its company approach of "print less save more".

According to the company, Gary King has been appointed as a senior business manager, specialising in sales to small-to-medium enterprises while Ken Owen has been appointed as LVP channel development director.

Marcus Harvey, UK channel sales director, said: "The creation of these two roles will help Lexmark strengthen its relationship with reseller partners and enable them to gain a greater presence in the channel marketplace.

"Both Ken and Gary have a huge amount of experience that will be invaluable in helping Lexmark to achieve its channel objectives in the UK."

During the coming months, the two new employees will be working on tailoring Lexmark printer solutions for businesses.

Previously, Lexmark announced it had signed a deal with Kingfisher, a global home improvement business to provide managed print services for its offices across the UK.
