Thieves Steal Ink Cartridges In Falkirk
Thieves have stolen hundreds of pounds worth of ink cartridges from a lorry parked in Denny, Falkirk. The HGV was left in Winchester Avenue when the ink and toner cartridges were taken from the back of the wagon.
Police said that the event took place between 21:00 BST on Friday July 1st, and 07:00 BST on Sunday July 3rd. A spokeswoman for Central Scotland Police, said: "The cartridges were aimed for the Italian market and may have distinct Italian writing on them.
“The name of the cartridges are JR-KPI, JR-KBI, JR-KTCI and JR-KTYI. We urge anyone who may have been offered them for sale to come forward."
Recently, two former employees of Office Depot made millions from an online black market ring supplying people with ink and toner cartridges. The pair's illegal activity came to an end during a heist in April last year, after security cameras saw them taking the products, but at their trial last month the prosecution said that they had been selling these devices on eBay for a period of five years.
