FujiFilm To Announce New Digital Inkjet Strategy At Ink Event
FujiFilm is to announce a new digital inkjet strategy at the upcoming drupa 2012 printing fair.
According to the company, it has made significant research and development investments in both inkjet printhead and digital printer ink technologies over recent times which has led to the new agenda.
FujiFilm has focused in on being the global leader in digital inkjet printing technology for the commercial, packaging and wide format market printing segments.
President and chief executive officer at FujiFilm, Shigetaka Komori, said: "FujiFilm is developing ink technologies with performance capabilities specifically tailored to different market applications, and will be using drupa 2012 as the launch platform for a brand new range of high performance inks called VIVIDIA.
"This range of state-of-the-art inks has been developed specifically to complement the company’s growing range of single pass digital inkjet presses."
Drupa 2012 will take place in Dusseldorf from May 3rd until May 6th.
