New Brother and Epson Printers
Brother and Epson; two large printer manufacturers are moving forward with new printers: Brother is expanding into the inkjet printer market while Epson have launched a series of printers with a refillable tank instead of ink cartridges.
Brother's New Range of Inkjet Printers
Brother have expanded their range of inkjet printers with the launch of the Brother J5000. This new series endeavours to make the most of the inkjet printer market by providing fast print speeds, enhanced print quality, A3 printing and reduced noise output.
Product Manager at Brother UK Stuart Mabe says: “As the number one brand in A3 ink, we’re trusted by businesses to provide high quality, reliable printers that deliver the features they need.”
“The business inkjet market is growing rapidly, with over three million units sold last year, as businesses increasingly look for great value machines with a strong feature set. Our new ranges will give resellers a compelling proposition to help them capitalise on this opportunity.”
Epson’s New Printers with 2 Years’ Worth of Ink
Epson’s new printers come with an estimated two years’ worth of ink, being able to print 4000 pages in black and white and 6500 pages in colour, all without needing a single ink cartridge. The Epson L355 is priced at £329 and the Epson L555 is priced at £249, which considering you don’t need to purchase any ink cartridges for the first two years, is quite good value for money.
Epson UK Product Manager Simon Hanly said: “These models are ideal for home and small office customers who want to print everyday documents, such as recipes, homework, emails and maps, and for whom price and convenience are key factors. With two years’ worth of ink included, users know where they stand.”
