Printer ink firm Ricoh UK completed five sales during the Northprint 2011 tradeshow that brought it in over £500,000.

The deals saw companies including DDL Group, Horizon Digital Media and Platinum Print invest in colour presses from the firm.

Furthermore, Ricoh's Pro C901 Graphic Arts Edition device was a popular choice among customers wanting to use the company's printer ink products.

Stephen Palmer, head of production print at Ricoh UK, said: "To have achieved in excess of £500,000 worth of business at Northprint is a testament to the impact our technology is now having on the market, and to all the hard work and dedication of the Ricoh UK team."

Recently, Leeds-based international law firm Eversheds invested in Ricoh's latest printer ink technology and will use it to produce its communication documents and mail.

This new deal extended the partnership between the two firms as Eversheds has used Ricoh devices for the last four and a half years.
