The new Aficio SP 4310N monochrome laser printer from Ricoh fits in with its managed document services (MDS) strategy.

This is according to the company, which claims the black and white machine will produce cost-effective prints for users and help reduce energy usage in firms.

On top of this, the latest device includes a Toner Saving Mode, designed to increase ink cartridge yields for users.

Furthermore, the SP 4310N is ENERGY STAR compliant and also comes with an optional Automatic Duplexing system that allows consumers to produce two-sided prints.

Recently, EFI announced that its Fiery E-41A server is available for Ricoh's Pro C651 EX, C751 EX and C751 colour printer ink solutions.

The firm claims the latest technology can provide users with superior printer ink quality and ease of use on the devices.

John Henze, vice president of Fiery marketing at EFI, said: "Together with the powerful features of the new Ricoh Pro line-up, customers with varying degrees of digital print experience can take advantage of Fiery technology to produce eye-catching documents with ease.”
