Ricoh has unveiled a new A3 colour printer, which offers the industry’s lowest cost of ownership and ultra-compact footprint.

It has confirmed that the Aficio SP C730DN boasts LED printing technology, giving users the chance to transform their ways of working and enjoy increased productivity.

Jason Dizzine, vice president of technology marketing at Ricoh Americas Corporation, said: “We're serving the many customers who require A3 printing ability but don't want to pay for a high-speed, high-volume device or a wide range of finishing options.

“Until now, they haven't had a solution. This device fills that hole in the market, and we're looking forward to helping many delighted, productive customers.”

The machine also boasts an Eco-Night sensor, executing a “hard shutdown” of the device when the office lights are turned down, while power is restarted automatically when lights are put back on.

It can also operate as a standalone workgroup printer.
