Ricoh Launches Cloud Printing Service
Ricoh has introduced its cloud-based printing service, FlexRelease.
The system enables workers to send documents to the cloud from their mobile phone, tablet, laptop or PC and retrieve them from any compatible Ricoh printer or multifunction product (MFP).
The secure print release service requires users to verify their identity with a user name and password before releasing a print job.
On the other hand, the CX time out feature reduces wasteful printing and needless costs by enabling administrators to specify the amount of time a job is held in a queue.
Jason Dizzine, vice president of technology marketing at Ricoh Americas Corporation, said: "FlexRelease CX, however, provides a location-independent printing experience that, unlike other solutions, requires no server purchase, installation or management. Just subscribe and use it as long as you need it."
Ricoh FlexRelease CX supports all email-enabled mobile devices, while extra file upload and management features are accessible through an iOS app for iPad and iPhone.
