Xerox Cuts UK Firms Print Costs By 15 Percent
UK businesses looking into managed print services to provide their toner cartridges and printers may be interested in hearing about Xerox's progress in the managed print field. According to the company, it has helped Selex Galileo, a provider of defence electronics systems, save 15 per cent of its print costs over two years.
Selex signed on for Xerox's Enterprise Print Services in November 2008 and is now extending its contract with the firm. Xerox's service will manage all of Selex's office functions and print rooms to make sure its document output meets budget targets and security policies.
Nick Cramer, head of indirect procurement and systems at Selex Galileo, said:"Xerox is a valued partner which has worked with us and our suppliers to make a positive difference to the way we do business.
"Whilst Xerox focuses on streamlining our print environment to meet our cost-saving targets, customer service goals and security measures, we can stay focused on delivering state-of-the-art technology to our customers around the world."
Recently, Research firm Quocirca named Xerox a market leader for its provision of managed print services.
