Ink Cartridges Producer Xerox Unveils Waterless Inkjet System
Ink cartridges and printer manufacturer Xerox is introducing the world's first high-speed waterless inkjet system.
Xerox announced that the new product will provide vivid image quality on low-cost paper for those wanting to produce high-volume to an excellent standard.
Eric Armour, president of Xerox Graphic Communications Business Group, said: "Xerox's Production Inkjet System cuts through the barriers – cost, quality and reliability – that stood in the way of producing massive numbers of custom print jobs."
Furthermore, the company developed the granulated and resin-based ink, which will serve the high-speed production market. The key benefit is the elimination of water that means no ink soaks through printed paper.
Mr Armour added that the new printer ink technology will save money, produce jobs on demand and reduce waste.
Recently, Xerox released its Phaser range specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises, which have small high-capacity toner cartridges to save on storage space and waste.
