Printer company Xerox has been named a Managed Print Services leader in a new report.

Forrester Research has given the toner cartridge firm the accreditation after it received the top vendor ranking with regard to market presence and the highest possible strategy score.

Report author Craig Le Clair, vice president and principal analyst at Forrester Research, said: "Xerox's market reach has been enhanced through integration with its ITO business, expansion to many partners in the small and medium-sized business (SMB) space, as well as partnering with global delivery."

Mr Le Clair added that the company boasts an extremely well-balanced offering, demonstrating strength across all of its categories, such as platform support and global deployments.

Earlier this month, Xerox announced that it will work with Boeing in order to deploy a managed print services strategy.

The two companies have agreed a six-year Enterprise Print Services contract, with Xerox set to consolidate printers and copiers among other devices.
