Xerox Agrees Deal For Software Specialist Learn Something
Printer company Xerox has agreed a deal to purchase software maker Learn Something, enabling it to offer more to the food, drug and healthcare sectors.
No financial terms have been disclosed, but Learn Something will become a Xerox company and president and chief executive Steve Roden will remain in his current position.
Learn Something’s internet and computer-based training is provided to 85 per cent of all US retail pharmacy chains, while it also conducts over two million online learning events every year.
It began operations around ten years ago and helps pharmacy chains remain up-to-date with the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
Xerox’s technology has helped a number of firms expand their operations, including New Jersey, which is using the iGen 150 platform to develop cross-media marketing.
Metzgers Printing in Ohio is also taking advantage of the iGen4 technology, alongwith the Xerox Nuvera 144 machine.
