Xerox’s Colourcube 8700/8900 printers have been praised by a writer at ITProPortal.

The all-in-one machine was described as being a “few levels above” the printers typically reviewed on the website, with writer Sander Almekinders commending its fast performance and solid inks.

“The Xerox ColorQube 8700/8900 is not an all-in-one for the average or even the most demanding consumer, unless you have too much room in your home office. It's a machine that takes up a lot of space, especially with all the additional paper trays when it stands on the ground,” Mr Almekinders noted.

He added that the heaviness of the machine makes it difficult to move around, making wheels a necessity.

The machine is available in two versions, the 8700 and 8900, but they are identical when it comes to performance and features.

The expert explained that the “most remarkable” aspect of the systems is their use of solid ink, which Xerox has been using for a long time.
