Offering some of the same capabilities with a 16 megapixel lens, an impressive waterproof depth of up to 18 metres, this one is good for the deep sea divers looking for that impressive pick, or maybe you just fancy going out and taking photos in the rain, either way your photos won’t get damaged.

 

The Nikon AW110 is as impressive as it looks with a 5x lens zoom and also comes with built in Wi-Fi and GPS tracking. Made for durability and great value of or money, you won’t go far wrong with printing your holiday pictures with the Nikon AW110, which comes a very close second.

Top of the Sony waterproof camera picks ready for printing is the DSC TX30 camera. Like all Sony cameras, the look and feel of the camera has that compact and sharp look. Boasting 18.2 megapixel and a 5x optimal zoom lens, this camera comes top in terms of picture printing quality, as with Sony it comes with HD video recording, but is only waterproof up to 10 metres.

 

Being of Sony quality, you may need a case to maintain that stylish look with this DSC TX30 and keep it out of your pocket with all that change rustling around. If you’re looking at price expect to pay around £190, which is a lot cheaper compared to the first two cameras and comes right under the £200 mark. Make sure if you’re looking for a high quality Sony camera for your photo printing, you take this one on holiday with you.

 

4. Olympus Tough TG-830

 

The Olympus Tough TG-830 with a waterproof depth up to 10 metres a wide angle 5x lens picture quality of up to 16 megapixels. The Olympus TG-830 comes in an array of colours including vibrant red, black, silver and blue.

 

You won’t worry about scratching this TG-830 on your holiday camping trip as it’s shockproof up to 2.1m and crushproof up to 100KG. With a nice grip and compact style the Olympus is great for on the move holiday pictures and shooting in those underwater or wet conditions. But if the weather doesn’t spoil your holiday make sure your get the best snaps. The TG-830 isn’t cheap but still comes around the £180 mark, but is again one of the better value cameras along with the Sony Cyber shot TX30.

We couldn’t have a top 5 waterproof camera list without the Canon camera making an appearance. With a 12.1 megapixel and 5x optical zoom, this Canon D30 comes behind our top 3 cameras. However, don’t write this one off yet as it still is a classy shockproof, freezeproof and waterproof digital camera. Being from the Canon range combine this with the MG series printers and you can get some clean and vibrant holiday pictures.

 

Although not cheap at around £260 you also get a memory card tripod and case thrown into the mix which is not too shabby and will save on the scratches and aid the cameras durability. Simple to use and the Canon D30 offers large buttons to make sure you get the right shot underwater; the D30 also has some secure places to grip the camera, a must to make sure your holiday snaps come out right.
