I have found this Epson DX7450 printer reliable and user friendly. It is, however, surprisingly noisy and although it works well its sounds are 'clunky'. I have used the scanner/copy a great deal and while the scanner needs to take time to absorb the print data, making it seem as though it takes a long time, if you have multiple copies you can do the scanning of one document while the other is being printed. The black and white 'photocopy' the machine produces is quite faint and I cannot find a way of improving its print quality.
Your Reviews For The DX7450 So Far

The black and white 'photocopy' the machine produces is quite faint and I cannot find a way of improving its print quality. The Epson DX7450 ink cartridges don't seem to last as long as the Epson compatible cratridges as there is probably a greater amount of ink in the latter. Also, the DX7450 printer seems to have a tantrum when 'compatible' cartridges are used. Perseverance wins the day, though. The one real advantage is that you have four separate ink cartridges rather than black and colour which means you only have to change the one that is empty. Roger Milne
FROM THE EDITOR :- Your right there Roger, our compatible cartridges are 0.5ml shy of containing three times more ink than the Epson originals. As for your poor quality photocopying, there should be a photocopy quality option on your printer.
Having tried compatible inks in my new dx7450 Epson printer, I am finding that it prints very slowly ,is there any way I could make it print faster, and would your inks be better.
FROM THE EDITOR: - Our compatible inks should not slow the printing process. Subsequently if you are suffering from slow printing I would suggest that you check your printer's properties and adjust the print quality. This will speed up or slow down your printing time.
This printer does the job, I have no problem with the quality of the printing, and I print a monthly newsletter, a small amount of colour but mostly black and white. I worried about the compatible inks and the printer’s reaction, but the printer tells me I am using an Epsom cartridge. I do a lot of photographs, on occasion I do have a problem with printing in the right place, but not nearly as much as I have had with other manufacturer’s printers.Jack Kramer
I`ve just bought my Epson Dx7450 printer from pc world. Easy to set up, was working within 10 minutes. Speed and quality are great. The Epson original printer ink cartridges that came with the printer only latest 3 days. I bought some of our own brand Epson ink cartridges from your website on Sunday that arrived on Tuesday morning. They seem to work fine; I will let you know if they last longer than normal Epson printer ink cartridges.
New printer is an Epson Stylus DX7450. Speed 7/10 Quality 9/10 Value 9/10. I`ve just ordered a set of our own Epson dx7450 printer ink cartridges. The inks that came with the printer only lasted for about 60 pages, will yours last longer.
FROM THE EDITOR :- Well we put 13ml of ink in each ink cartridge compared to 6.5ml of ink in original Epson ink cartridges, so they should print double.
Epson Dx7450 ink cartridges. Hi I received my ink replacements and am as good as the originals at half the price Thanks Anne Easton
The Internet-ink is the fastest and most reliable ink cartridge site on the web. I have never had any problems with the service I have received. I have two printers 1. EPSON DX7450. 2. HP Deskjet 840C. Both printers are reliable but for print quality and picture clarity the EPSON is the better deal. Keep up the good work. Thanks W J Carruthers
Epson DX7450 is an exceptionally good cost effective all in one printer/scanner/copier when compared against costlier and bulkier makes and models. This has the advantage of individual replacement ink cartridges over the all in one colour cartridges for many models. Scanning and printing is of a high quality and rate of copying is good for small jobs. Good user interface. User has just transferred from HP products and considers he has made a wise choice just over ink prices.
I have had my printer, Epson DX7450 since October when it was bought for me as a gift. The photo quality is superb and the scanner has some interesting features including selective scanning instead of an entire page. The main drawback is that it does not contain the correct software to print Publisher or Word documents in the exact colour or texture they were designed in. I contacted Epson support who advised changing the file format to a jpeg; however this did not solve the problem.
I have tried different combinations of settings and am disappointed every time I print out a document which I have spent time getting right especially when the warm russet reds come out a flat pinkish brown colour. I was also disappointed when the 4 ink cartridges ran out so quickly and so bought replacement non Epson ink cartridges which the printer refused point blank to load. I was therefore very happy when I discovered your site and purchased compatible replacement cartridges which actually worked and contained far more ink at a much more reasonable price. Regards Anne Austin
I have an EPSON DX7450 3 in1 Printer, Scanner and Copier. Ink cartridges a little on the small side and maybe a little too expensive compared with my old Epson printer. Otherwise all good no bad points
My Epson DX7450 printer is 3 weeks old. This printer is noisy to use, heavy on ink usage and on my 3rd black cartridge decided to block up so at present printing in blue! The Scanner is Ok, haven’t used the copier. Changing the ink cartridges is rigmarole of having to follow a set sequence of diagrams. I wish I hadn’t given away my Canon printer now! Paul Smith
We have an Epson DX7450, bought on special offer for £50.00, which was roughly the price I would have had to pay to repair our RX420! Very pleased with performance and instructions clearly presented. Excellent photocopying facility, just wish I could photo reduces or enlarges direct from copier without having to scan onto computer first.
Quite pleased with the quality of the print but the Epson DX7450 cartridges are too expensive and do not last long enough. Another insult to the customer. Refills and cheaper cartridges are the way to go. Epson have made it impossible to remove the cartridges until they are empty because the machine will not 'park' in the right place until then. Devious people. Graham
